And<br \/>\n\u2013\tHow is the live and multi-disciplinary element evolving the cinematic experience?<\/p>\n<p>Special guests:<br \/>\n\u2022 Nick Wales \u2013 the Coda Collective<br \/>\nTwice ARIA nominated, Nick Wales and his musical collective consistently incorporate projected video works and performances as part of their show. Wales\u2019 work spans Vivid Sydney\u2019s <em>Fire Water<\/em> to short films <em>Scary Therapy<\/em>, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rachaelturk.com\/2010\/03\/02\/jailbirds\/\">Jailbirds<\/a><\/em>, <em>Breathe<\/em> and TV series <em>Monster Auditions<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Benjamin Speed \u2013 The New Pollutants<br \/>\nBenjamin Speed received the Best Original Score award at the 2006 St Kilda Film Festival for the animated short <em>Carnivore Reflux<\/em>, was nominated for Best Music for <em>The Cat Piano <\/em>at the 2009 AGSC Awards and Annecy Animation Festival, has composed for feature film <em>The Tumbler<\/em> and docos <em>A Northern Town<\/em> and <em>The Snowman<\/em>, in competition at the 2010 Sydney Film Festival. <\/p>\n<p>Time: 5-6pm<br \/>\nDate: Friday, June 4<br \/>\nEvent: Friday On My Mind<br \/>\nVenue: AFTRS Theatre, Fox Entertainment Quarter<\/p>\n<p>A free and thoroughly three dimensional <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aftrs.edu.au\/\">AFTRS<\/a> event bringing you face to face with the industry\u2019s brightest thinkers.<\/p>\n<p>Free entry.
